The Canon BG-E20 Battery Grip is an optional battery grip for the Canon 5D Mark IV. Key features include:

More Power. The Canon BG-E20 holds two LP-E6 or LP-E6N batteries to effectively double your camera’s battery life.

Improved Ergonomics and Controls. The BG-E20 also serves as a vertical grip, making it popular with portrait and event photographers. It gives you a slew of vertically positioned controls for shooting in portrait orientation. These include a shutter release, a top adjustment dial, an autofocus multi-controller, and the new autofocus-area selection button.
