Canon® Canon EF-EOS R 0.71x Mount Adapter

The Canon EF-EOS R 0.71x Mount Adapter expands the range of lenses you can use on crop-frame Canon RF-mount cine and mirrorless cameras while maintaining the lenses’ original fields of view. Key features include:

• Mounts Canon EF lenses to crop-sensor RF-mount cameras

• Increases your lens’s maximum aperture by 1 stop

Full-Frame to Super 35 Adapter. The Canon EF-EOS R 0.71x Mount Adapter lets you use almost any on . It’s intended for cameras with Super 35 sensors, like the , and incorporates an optical system that increases the effective angle of view by 0.71×. This reduces the effects of a full-frame to Super-35 crop factor and increases the maximum aperture performance by one stop. This adapter will not work with full frame RF-mount cameras.

Locking Mount Collars. If you plan on using a larger or heavier lens with the , we include two locking mount collars to help support the weight of the lens. If the lens you’re planning on using is heavy enough to need the mount collars, we also recommend you use a rail system for additional support. Electronic Communication. This adapter provides electronic communication between the camera and lens, supports metadata transmission, and lets you use Dual-Pixel Autofocus with select Canon EF lenses.
