Canon® Canon LP-E19 Battery

The Canon LP-E19 is a high-capacity rechargeable lithium battery for Canon 1D-series cameras. Key features include:

• Slightly increased capacity over the LP-E4N

• Optimized for the Canon 1DX Mark II

• Backwards-compatible with Canon 1D-series cameras

• Requires the LC-E19 charger

Spare Battery Option. The Canon LP-E19 is designed for use with the , , and 1DX. Our cameras are shipped with a single battery, but we offer these as a spare battery option.

Modest Capacity Increase. While the previous-generation LP-E4N battery offered 2450 mAh of output, the LP-E19 expands on that to 2700 mAh. This provides roughly 1210 shots per charge.

Optimized for 1DX II. To get the maximum continuous frame rate out of the 1DX Mark II, you’ll need use the LP-E19. Otherwise, frame rates are reduced.

Backwards Compatibility. The LP-E19 is compatible with previous generation 1D-series cameras like the 1Ds Mark III, 1D Mark III, 1D Mark IV, and 1DX.

Requires the LC-E19. This battery only charges on the . If you only have a previous generation 1D-series charger, you won’t be charging this battery (unless you rent one).
