The Fuji XF 16mm f/1.4 R WR is a fast-aperture wide-angle lens designed for Fuji X-mount mirrorless cameras. Key features include:

Fast Aperture, Wide Angle. With a focal length equivalent to 24mm after crop factor, the XF 16mm f/1.4 gives users a high-quality wide-angle lens that’s ideal for low-light use. Additionally, the wide f/1.4 aperture enables images with a very shallow depth of field and great subject/background separation.

Target Market. Street, travel, and landscape photographers will greatly benefit from this lens, as well as anyone who needs a wide angle and speed.

Optics. The eleven-group/thirteen-element optical design features two aspherical elements and two extra-low dispersion elements. These combine effectively to eliminate chromatic, spherical, and axial aberrations while keeping distortion to a minimum. This results in images with consistent edge-to-edge sharpness and illumination. Fuji’s Nano-GI coating helps to eliminate flare and ghosting.

Autofocus. The XF 16mm provides fast, nearly silent performance thanks to its internal-focusing design. Fuji claims this lens has an 0.11-second autofocus speed. It has a six-inch minimum focusing distance for creating images with false perspective.

Build. This pro-caliber lens offers a weather-resistant design to keep you shooting even in adverse conditions. There’s a manual aperture ring for those who prefer manual selection, as well as a quick-clutch design focus ring with etched distance/depth-of-field scale.
