Providing a 27-84mm focal length after sensor crop, the Leica 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH Vario-Elmar-TL is a wide to short tele zoom that’s great as an all-around, general purpose lens. Its f/3.5-5.6 variable aperture doesn’t give much flexibility in low light, so you’ll want to stick with decent lighting conditions with this one. As mentioned above, the lens does have autofocus capability with manual override when it’s needed.
