Take: This is the holy grail of 35mm lenses. There’s honestly not many words you can use to describe it other than “perfection.” It’s smaller than , balances much better on M bodies, image quality is outstanding and the build is on another level. This lens is as sharp wide open as it is stopped down and the focus roll off is gorgeous. When I need a 35mm lens, this is without a doubt the one I reach for above all others. The option is comparable at a lower cost if you need a fast 35mm for M mount on a budget.
