The Manfrotto 502HD is a lightweight fluid head that’s ideal for DSLRs and smaller video cameras. Key features include:

15.43-lb. Capacity. The head is rated to hold up to 15.4 lbs. static weight, with the counterbalance supporting up to 8.8 lbs. This is perfect for DSLRs and smaller interchangeable lens camcorders.

Flat Base. With its 3/8″-16 threading, the 502HD is easily attachable to standard tripods. This also makes it a great choice for slider use.

Sliding Quick-Release System. Enables more balancing options for front or back-heavy rigs. Features a secondary safety system to keep your camera secure. Two 1/4″-20 screws and a single 3/8″-16 adapter are included for attaching a variety of cameras.

Spring-Loaded Counterbalance. With up to 8.8 lbs., the head provides -80° to +90° tilt range front to back, with continuously adjustable drag from 0 to max level.
