Manfrotto 509HD Professional Fluid Head

The Manfrotto 509HD is a heavy-duty fluid head suited towards work with higher-end cinema cameras like those offered from ARRI, RED, Sony, and Canon. Key features include:

29-lb. Capacity. The head is rated to hold up to 29 lbs. static weight and 28 lbs. of counterbalanced weight – perfect for 19mm studio style configurations using big cameras and big lenses.

100mm Ball Base. More support means a larger base, and 100mm allows you to get an even better balance over your rig.

Sliding Quick-Release System. The quick-release system enables more balancing options for front or back-heavy rigs. It features a secondary safety system to keep your camera secure. Both 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 screws are included for attaching a variety of cameras.

Spring-Loaded Counterbalance. With up to 28 lbs., the head provides -60° to +90° tilt range front to back, with continuously adjustable drag from 0 to max level.
