NewTek NDI|HX-PTZ2 1080p PTZ Camera

The NewTek NDI|HX-PTZ2 1080p PTZ Camera is a remote controlled PTZ camera that uses the NewTek NDI®|HX protocol for power, control, and video transmission via a single ethernet connection. Key features include:

• 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor, 20x optical zoom

• Maximum resolution of 1080p60

• Simultaneous SDI, HDMI, and NDI output

• NDI/HX for streaming and IP control

High Efficiency NDI. With the pre-installed NDI HX license from NewTek, the PTZ2 can transmit live video over IP to any NDI compatible hardware or software. Designed for reduced latency at low bandwidths, the NDI implementation on this camera supports video, audio, camera control, & power over ethernet with resolution peaks at 1920 × 1080 and frame rates up to 60 fps.

Control & Switching Options. NDI cameras can be controlled with a variety of software and hardware. We recommend NewTek’s as a starting point for free, software-based NDI control. Please for any hardware or software compatibility concerns.

Integrated 20x Zoom Lens. The PTZ2 features a 20x optical zoom lens that will reach from 5.33~110mm. The camera features a -170° to +170° panning angle and -30 to 90° tilt range.

Power Over Ethernet. This camera is capable of utilizing PoE from compatible network switches, but can also be powered by the included AC adapter.

Inputs & Outputs. The camera uses an RJ45 ethernet port for NDI, but also features simultaneous video output via SDI, HDMI, and RS232. Audio input is available with a single on-board 1/8″ (3.5mm) port.
