The Nikon SB-700 Speedlight is an on-camera flash designed for use with DX- and FX-sensor cameras that use the i-TTL metering system. Key features include:

Versatile On-Camera Flash. The Nikon SB-700 Speedlight’s power zoom head covers a 24-120mm range when used with an FX-sensor camera. The SB-700 can be used as a solo shoe mount flash, as a remote controlled by another speedlight, or as a commander controlling off-camera speedlights.

Filters. The flash includes plastic filters for fluorescent and incandescent lighting, and automatically recognizes and adjusts for installed filters.

Three Illumination Patterns. It has three different illumination patterns: standard, center-weighted, and even (perfect for group photos).

Overheating Protection. One of our favorite features is its thermal cut-out, which helps prevent overheating damage.
