Fast-Aperture Portrait Lens. With an effective focal length of 83mm after sensor-crop factor, the SMC DA* 55mm is an ideal choice for portraiture. The fast f/1.4 aperture allows plenty of subject-background separation, which also makes it great for low-light shooting.
SDM Focusing Motor. Provides fast, silent autofocus performance with compatible Pentax DSLRs (all of ours are). Additionally, it offers full-time manual override for quick adjustments.
