Heart of a Dragon. The RED Scarlet-W features a Super 35 RED Dragon sensor. This means you have the features, performance, and pedigree of an industry-standard chip with a high dynamic range, advanced color science, and RAW recording capabilities.

Interchangeable Optical Low-Pass Filters. Swap the optical low-pass filter to optimize your footage. We send the DSMC2 standard OLPF installed for balanced shooting, but we also rent the and OLPFs as add-ons.

DSMC2 Accessorized. The Scarlet-W’s new design adds the small details that make working with it easy and intuitive. Built-in stereo mics help capture scratch and environmental audio, while the built-in speaker allows for playback. RED has placed pogo connections across the brain to keep you from having to deal with a Medusa-like tangle of cables.
