-
Great for landscape, event, and street photography
-
Excellent image quality, clarity, contrast, and sharpness

Internal zoom and focusing
Fast f/2 Aperture Zoom. While most zoom lens apertures top off at f/2.8, the Sigma 24-35mm bests that by a full stop. This enables stellar low-light shooting, as well as providing shallow depth of field with a wide-angle zoom.
Wide to Normal Range. On a full-frame camera, the 24-35mm focal length covers the wide to moderately-wide focal range. This makes it a great option for landscape, event, and street photographers.
High-Quality Optics. As a part of Sigma’s Art lens line, the 24-35mm f/2 goes through Sigma’s rigorous A1 testing, ensuring high image quality. This lens’s optics are quite impressive. Its one “F” Low-Dispersion element (Sigma’s equivalent to a fluorite element), seven Super Low-Dispersion elements, and two aspherical glass elements work in unison to minimize spherical aberration, axial chromatic aberration, and field curvature. The Super Multi-Layer Coating minimizes lens flare and ghosting, helping to provide high contrast and color accuracy. This lens also offers internal zoom and focusing.
High-Quality Build. The lens barrel is constructed of Sigma’s durable, lightweight Thermally Stable Composite, giving the lens a solid, sturdy field.
Hyper Sonic Motor Autofocus System. Provides fast, smooth, and quiet operation in a wide variety of shooting situations. You can also manually override the autofocus motor at any time by rotating the focusing ring, giving you quick fine-tuning ability.
Dock Compatible. As part of Sigma’s Global Vision series, this lens is compatible with the (separate rental item), allowing you to adjust certain parameters through the Sigma Optimization Pro software.

This lens is perfect for travel. Yes, it’s a bit bulky, but it can shoot in a low-lit museum, capture a wide landscape, and zoom to the perfect documentary or street-style frame. The build is solid and the image quality is everything we have come to expect of the Sigma Art series lenses, just in case zooming at a constant f/2 isn’t enough to get you excited. Want to know more? is a look at our real world image test of the lens and we have tested the optics on a batch of them in house.
