Sony FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver

The Sony FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver is an add-on option for using additional Sony flashes with the Sony Alpha Wireless Radio Commander/Receiver Kit. Key features include:

• Supports up to 15 compatible Sony HVL flashes in 5 groups

• 98-foot working range with no line of sight needed

• Only for Sony a7 II, a7R II, and a7S II cameras

• Multi-interface shoe and PC-sync terminal

Wireless Flash System. Sony’s first venture into wireless flash, this system offers support for up to fifteen compatible Sony HVL flash units in five groups with full TTL/manual adjustments made via the on-camera Commander unit. By using a 2.4 GHz RF radio signal, you have a working range of up to 98 feet without need for a line of sight. Each Receiver unit also features a PC-sync input for manually triggering non-Sony flashes and strobes.

Receiver Only. This rental includes a single FA-WRR1 Receiver and is designed to be used in conjunction with our , allowing you to trigger additional off-camera flashes. If you only rent the Receiver unit, you’re going to be very disappointed.

Camera Compatibility. This system only supports the Sony Alpha , , , , , , , and cameras with the latest firmware version. If you try to use this system with any other camera model, you’ll be disappointed. Sorry!

Flash Compatibility. This system only supports the Sony , , and flashes mounted via hot shoe (manual triggering via PC sync is compatible with any flash/strobe with PC input) into the FA-WRR1 receiver. The newer and have built in receivers. These work directly with the FA-WRC1M commander, so the FA-WRR1 is not necessary.
