On-Demand Streaming Encoder. The Teradek Wave Smart Streaming Monitor/Encoder makes live streaming easy: simply connect your camera to the Wave, create a new event, and send your signal straight to the platform of your choosing, like YouTube, Facebook, or Vimeo. Events can be scheduled ahead of time with settings and stream information already configured so you can jump straight in, or you can create a new one on demand without needing to use a computer at all. The Wave can stream over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and provides two USB 2.0 outputs for optional LTE mobile hotspot.

1080p Streaming and Recording. Each stream can be recorded to an SD card or external SSD for backup, but you can choose not to record if you don’t need to. The Wave accepts 1080p video and audio via embedded HDMI or by plugging in a 3.5mm cable from an audio mixer, and has a headphone output for audio monitoring. The Wave also features a 7″, 1000 cd/m² bright LCD, perfect for monitoring your video and controlling your stream.

Compact Design. The Teradek Wave weighs less than 2 pounds and is housed in a durable plastic and aluminum enclosure, featuring a desktop stand or 1/4″-20 threads for mounting, so it can go wherever you need it without getting in the way. It can be powered via USB-C, and comes with dual L-series battery plates so it can be powered wirelessly (batteries not included).
