Über Wide. The Voigtlander 10mm f/5.6 is wide. It’s really, really wide. On a full-frame camera, it provides a 130° angle of view. Its rectilinear (non-fisheye) design cuts down on distortion and makes it a great choice for landscape and architecture photography.
High-Quality Optics. A revised version of the Heliar optical design puts thirteen elements in ten groups with two aspherical elements. That means the 10mm has an excellent handle on color fringing, vignetting, and distortion. A rounded ten-blade aperture provides some creamy bokeh.
Manual Focus and Aperture. The 10mm offers an aperture ring featuring half-stop click stops throughout the f/5.6-22 range. There’s no autofocus, but there is a smooth manual focus ring that brings focus all the way down to 1.6 feet. This lens isn’t rangefinder coupled, so you’ll need to use live view for focusing.
