Zacuto Z-Drive Follow Focus with Tornado Grip is a direct-drive follow focus designed with single-operator shoulder-mount rigs in mind. Key features include:

• Universal joint design and 60º angle

• Fixed 1.75-inch diameter 0.8 pitch gear

Angled Follow Focus. The Z-Drive uses a universal joint design instead of internal gears. Mounted via a single 15mm rod clamp, the Z-Drive is angled 60º giving the operator additional space to work with. It has a fixed 1.75-inch diameter 0.8 pitch gear, making it compatible with a wide variety of lens gears. We include three different gear sizes to fit most lenses.

Tornado Grip. This handgrip/whip combo is a perfect match for the Z-Drive follow focus. When combined with the Z-Drive’s angled design, the Tornado becomes a replacement for one of your shoulder rig’s handles. The fingertip-twist focus wheel ensures fine-tuned focus capabilities, with the bottom portion of the grip featuring a ratchet design for a more comfortable wrist motion.
