The Zeiss Compact Zoom CZ.2 28-80mm T2.9 (PL) is a high-quality cine zoom for use with PL-mount camcorders. Key features include:

PL Mount. This is the PL-mount version of the CZ.2 28-80mm. We also carry this lens in the and mounts.

Full-Frame 4K. The CZ.2 28-80mm provides a wide-to-normal zoom range that covers 35mm full-frame sensors. It also supports 4K resolutions, making it fully compatible with current technology.

Cine Build. Compared to other cine zoom lenses, the CZ.2 28-80mm is relatively compact. The cine-style housing with geared focus and zoom rings enable smooth adjustments with a follow focus, and its parfocal lens design ensures your focus point doesn’t shift during zooming. The lens has a 2.67-foot minimum focusing distance, and the lens barrel offers two opposing focus scales.

Lens Support Included. While it’s compact compared to its peers, the CZ.2 28-80mm is still relatively large at 5.5 lbs. and nearly 8 in. long. With that said, we include a to help support the lens’s weight when using a shoulder mount (not included) or other 15mm rail system.
