Classic Design. Based on the great , the Zeiss Loxia E 35mm f/2 Biogon is manual-focus, manual-aperture lens with electronic contacts for transmitting EXIF data and focus confirmation with Sony E-mount cameras. While it’s optimized for full-frame cameras, the Loxia line of lenses is fully compatible with APS-C Sony E-mount cameras with a 1.5x crop factor.

Moderately Wide Angle. When used on a full-frame camera, this lens provides a moderately wide focal length that’s great for landscape, street, and portrait photography. With an APS-C sensor camera, you’ll have a normal-range focal length of about 53mm.

Fast Aperture. The f/2 aperture enables decent low-light shooting speed and great background blur for controlling depth of field. The manual aperture ring offers 1/2-stop clicks throughout the f/2-22 range, as well as the ability to mechanically switch to clickless operation.
